The music in Episode 24 Part 1 is a stellar line-up of some of the finest singer-songwriter's and rock/alt-country artists around.
Casey Neill "Holy Land" from the new CD Brooklyn Bridge
Casey held a record release party May 12th at Mission Theater here in Portland, OR. The show was jam packed and his live band was mighty and included the great and formidable big-little man himself Ezra Holbrook on drums Lewi Longmire on LEAD guitar Adam East Bass Jenny Conlee (of the Decemberists! ) the incredible Hanz Araki played Irish flute and sang along with the inspiring Little SueCatch Casey live, he's the best!

Gerald Collier "Sorrow" from his new CD How Can There Be Another Day?
Gerald Collier's "How Can There Be Another Day?" is demos and outtakes from the Warner Bros. sessions for Gerald Collier's self-titled full-length. Songs such as "Don't' Discard Me" and "Hell Has Frozen Over (On Who I Used To Be)" were demo recordings that were later re-recorded and put on "Gerald Collier". Record Release parties are set for June 1st at the Tractor Tavern in Seattle and for June 2nd in Portland at Lola's Room (at The Crystal Ballroom.). Be there or be SQUARE! Gerald is also working on a new album at MastanMusic Studio of all new songs.

Luther Russell "Rise and Shine" from his new CD Repair
Luther Russell Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, and former Geffen/American Recordings recording artist (with his former band, The Freewheelers), Luther Russell will release his fourth solo album, "Repair", engineered and produced by Ethan Johns (Ray LaMontagne, Kings of Leon, Ryan Adams), at Johns’ Three Crow Studios, May 22nd. Repair, is an intimate collection of melodic pop songs that thrive with a raw edge that can only be attributed to having been cut mostly live, with the two people at the core having a blast while making a record that, while lyrically may not be fun and playful, sounds like a fun, good time.

Richmond Fontaine "Westward, Ho!" recorded live for the new Station To Station podcast

Fronted by words-man Willie Vlautin, who also just put out a new novel called The Motel Life, Richmond Fontaine perform the song "Westward, Ho" live for the Station To Station podcast. hosted by Sean Flora. We, played an instrumental called "Sujetti" where Kate plays keyboards and finger picks acoustic. It's a super groovy tune and a nice vibe to end the show on. Thanks Kate!
