Featuring
Highway
Join us in Episode 63 Part 1 where hosts Jeremy Wilson and Sam Densmore spin some great new tunes by: Stephanie Schneiderman, Little Sue, Old Ghost, Two Cow Garage, The Camellias, Kate Mann.
In this Episode 63 Part 2 of the MastanMusic Hour, Highway bring the stage to life at Kelly's Olympian. The psychedelic road music of Highway takes the listener to a few places they may not have gone otherwise. They mix old school am radio sounds together with dark guitar pop ala' Love and Rockets (meets Bobby D!), giving the band a unique wash all it's own. Don't miss this cool set from one of Portland's new favorite bands.
Scroll down to the Episode 63 Part 1 and 2 sections below to listen to both parts of the audio show and to read more about the bands.

Stephanie Schneiderman
"Oxygen" from the CD
Dangerous Fruit |
Stephanie Schneiderman, has just released a new CD titled, "Dangerous Fruit". A collaboration with the ever present producer Auditory Sculpture (Keith Schreiner), has helped to create a new sound for Stephanie. "Dangerous Fruit" relies on slinky trip hop grooves and electronic instrumentation to cradle Stephanie's delicate and sexy voice. The CD release party at the Doug Fir in Portland, OR Thursday November 3rd was a standing room only event and Stephanie sounded better than ever. Get the new disc at a record store near you.
Band Members:
Stephanie Schneiderman - vocals/guitars,
Keith Schreiner (of Dahlia)
James Beaton (of Storm and the Balls)

Little Sue has a new CD coming out this week called "Baby Knows Better". Her CD release show is coming up on Nov 22nd at the Mission Theater in Portland, OR. Little Sue has put out one great album after another and this new CD is one of her best. She continues to grow as a songwriter and her voice is as authentic and real as it gets. Little Sue is at the top of her game on her new CD "Baby Knows Better."

Two Cow Garage, hails from Columbus, Ohio. On their latest CD, "Speaking in Cursive", Two Cow Garage's rough hewn vocalists sing songs of regret, letting on with at least one story about the morning after a big party among other typical rock n roll moments. Big guitars rawk, drums rattle. Two Cow Garage lives!

Shane Sweeney
Micah Schnabel
Chris Flint
Cody Smith

| HIGHWAY |
Live in this Episode 63 Part 2 of the MastanMusic Hour, Highway
plays a set of mysterious road trippin music. Known to some as a side project of Dandy Warhols guitarist Peter Holstrom (who moonlights on bass), Rob Bond's band Highway is more than the local rock stars side project. Delivered in a deadpan, Mr. Bond's cool lyrics contemplate irony and combine with uncommon sonic landscapes. Don't miss this episode's video single for their awesome song, "T is For Trouble"!
Visit our MastanMusic YouTube Site to see our exclusive MastanMusic Hour Video Singles. This week HIGHWAY performing "T is for Trouble"
live for The MastanMusic Hour - Club Showcase filmed and recorded from Kelly's Olympian night club in downtown Portland, Oregon.
The band is:
Rob Bonds - sings/guitar
Andrew Stern - bass
Nathan jr. - guitar/vocals
Paulie Pulvirenti - drums
Peter Holmstrom - bass (not in this performance)
William Slater
