Sunshine Finally Show - June 30, 2008 |
Reporter
"Midnight Flight" from the CD
Reporter EP |
Rising from the ashes of Wet Confetti, Reporter play angular alt pop with chiming guitars. Like a scaled back Blonde Redhead they are trippy , with feeling. They are a well focused music machine onstage, no doubt, in part the result of constant touring with the likes of the Thermals. Catch them at this years PDX Pop Now Fest.
Band members:
May, Freddy, Brian

Adam Marsland
"Other Than Me" from the CD
Daylight Kissing Night |
Adam Marsland
spent three solid years "alone in my car," touring around and playing his songs to whomever would listen.
His latest release is a compilation of tracks recorded with his former record industry cursed band, Cockeyed Ghost.
Spanning several years of his career, "Daylight Kissing Night: Adam Marsland's Greatest Hits" is his latest release.
He's following it with a solo tour that will bring him to Portland on August 3rd to perform at the gritty East End Club. MastanMusic's own Sam Densmore will headline with an acoustic set, Adam will play the middle slot, and Brady Beard will open the show at 9pm.

Bouy Larue
"Feeling So" from the CD
Spin Out of This |
Bouy Larue
recorded their new CD in an abandoned warehouse with generators and candlelight. You'd never know the albums
origins just by listening to it. Recorded by Jim Brunberg (Mississippis Studios), it's crystal clear and full of their strange experimental pop arrangements.
Their new CD "Spin Out Of This" is out now at local record stores. For more info about Bouy Larue check out their myspace site.
Band members:
Michael Herrman - vocals, guitars, percussion
Adam East - piano, guitar, vocals

Bob Schneider
"The Way We Roll" from the CD
When the Sun Breaks Down the Moon |
Bob Shneider
is from Austin, TX. His blues influenced CD is titled "When the Sun Breaks Down the Moon". It's chock full of guitar chops and rough hewn vocals. Sparse instrumentation keeps the record focused and provides a fitting backdrop for the songs. He performs constantly in his home state, regularly performing in the Austin and Denton areas.
Band members:
All songs written, performed, recorded, mixed, mastered and produced by Bob Schneider

Rustin Mire
"Driving Straight Up In Siam" from the CD
Driving Straight Up In Siam |
Rustin Mire
offers a return to Seattle pop circa 2003. Having been a member of the illustrious Tube Top, Brian Naubert went on to form Rustin Mire. Through the late 90's and into the 2000's they played a mean power pop riff or two on the NW club circuit. Their 2003 release "Driving Straight Up In Siam" is still available for download from Roam Records in the itunes music store.
Band Members:
Brian Naubert - Guitars, Vocals
Jeff Wood - Bass Guitar
John Fleischman - Drums

| Michael Dean Damron |
Michael Dean Damron has toured all over the country, (including a tour with Reverend Horton Heat). Michael Dean Damron and Thee Loyal Bastards have a new CD out called "Bad Days Ahead" (In Music We Trust). As some of you who are familiar with his work in I Can Lick Any S.O.B. in the House know, his tough, no frills approach to rock n roll serves his songs well. But he's not just a bad ass rocker. He's got brains too. In this episodes live performance, his engaging lyrics and smart story telling take the lead, underscored by fine acoustic guitar playing.
The band:
Michael Dean Damron - acoustic guitar and vocal performance.
