Abducted By Patrick The Human Alien Show |
Western Aerial
"Looks Like We're Going To Jail" from the CD
Made In Portland (Live!) |
Western Aerial
is a rock band owing much to their influences, including Oasis, Guns and Roses and AC/DC. Loud guitars, sneering vocals, and a punding rhythm section characterize Western Aerial. Their new live CD "Made In Portland" showcases their rocking chops at their best. Replete with crowd screams, whoops and hollers, and more whoops and hollers, it is a classic look at this popular Portland band.
Band members:
Jimmy (Bass)
Geoff (Vocals, Guitar)
Anthony (Drums)
Visit Western Aerial on the web at theirWestern Aerial - MySpace for more
info on the band.

Little Beirut
"Acid Wash Soul" from the CD
High Dive |
Little Beirut's "High Dive"
sports production credentials from Chris Robley and Jeff Saltzman. This well crafted pop release is being celebrated March 7 at Berbatis Pan, here in their hometown of Portland, OR. They've been building a good Portland buzz, so go out and see what it's all about.
Band Members:
Edwin Paroissien
Hamilton Sims
Jon Trause
Alex Inman
To hear more new songs from Little Beirut check out their Myspace page.

Abductee
"I'm Having A Panic Attack" and "Viva Hotel" from the CD
4 song EP |
Abductee
Patrick Gundran is the former guitarist for our own Jeremy Wilson's band of yore, Pilot.
His songwriting continues with Abductee and these cool home recordings.
Clever lyrics and poppy melodies illustrate his stories and unique point of view.
We liked it so much, we played two tracks! There's nothing like the one and only, Abductee - it's cool!

The Lonely H
"Don't Worry" from the CD
Kick Upstairs |
The Lonely H
"belongs in a stadium full of bell bottoms and lighters raised heavenward." –MSNBC,
“Taut live shows swirled with swank three-part vocal harmonies earned the band a 'don't miss this' reputation.” –SPIN,
“Truly infectious old-school rock n' roll.” –The New York Post,
“Talk about overachievers.” –CMJ
Having had them in as live guests on the last episode (#42) of The MastanMusic Hour, we thought it would be cool to roll back in time and spin a cut from "Kick Upstairs", their debut CD. It was recorded while all the members were still in High School, but you'd never guess, based on the strong songwriting and musicianship present on this disc.
Band members:
Mark Fredson (Vox, Keys)
Eric Whitman (Guitar)
Ben Eyestone (Drums)
Johnny Whitman (Bass)

Blue Skies For Black Hearts

new cd "Serenades and Hand Grenades" comes out May 20, 2008. It was recorded in guitarist Pat Kearns studio in Portland, OR.
They maintain a busy tour schedule and are turning in rock n roll performances all over the west coast from Seattle to Austin (including SXSW) this spring. Be sure to catch them in Portland at the Ash St Saloon February 17, 2008..
Band members:
Pat Kearns (Vox, Guitar)
